GENERAL RULES FOR MAINTENANCE OF DISCIPLINE

  • Great emphasis is laid on discipline and character building and students are expected to maintain a high standard of discipline subjects to the rules and regulations of college

  • The students admitted to the college must abide by all rules and regulations as prescribed by the college authorities. Violation of rules, unsatisfactory progress, irregular attendance, irregular clearance of college fees,showing discourtesy to the teachers and staff members and any offences may make students liable for disciplinary action like termination of scholarship, forced transfer and even expulsion from the college.

  • All forms of ragging in college campus are strictly prohibited by the Govt. and strong disciplinary actions as indicated in SI.No.2 above may be taken if any one found to be involved directly or indirectly in ragging.

  • Students Union and all other associations shall be abide by the rules and regulations, the college administration may prescribe from time to time.

  • Any notice desired to be pasted or circulated by the students any where within the college or other places will need the prior permission/ approval of the Principal. Nothing can do in the college campus without the knowledge and permission from the college authority.

  • No students shall loiter in the college premises and disturb the teaching atmosphere. Free time is to be properly utilized in the reading room within library and in the common room.

  • Parents and Guardians are reminded to keep watch on their wards progress in studies and general conduct. The College expects parents/guardians to co-operate with the college authorities in the matter related to their progress in education. Their co-operation is solicited especially to ensure a regular attendance.

  • Students suffering from any infections, disease need not be sent to college. In such cases, parents are requested to bring the matter to the college authorities by any means.
    •  
  • The students indulging in damaging of college property will be responsible for renovation of the damage property and suitable disciplinary action may be initiated against such student.
    •  
  • Truancy will be viewed very seriously.
    •  
  • Once a student attends the college he /she will not be allowed any sort of leave. In case of emergency, a student may be permitted to leave the college with the formalities.

  • Wearing of college Identity Card is compulsory for every student. Any student not wearing college Identity Card and uniform will not be allowed to enter in to the college premises.

  • Those who bring bicycles should keep them properly looked at the place allotted for same.
    •  
  • All powers for maintenance of discipline are vested with the Head of the institution and his decision shall be final in all such matter.
    •  
  • Say no to SEXUAL HARASSMENT.
